Adagio Access Gent Centrum Dampoort

Good kitchenette - simple but adequate for several days stay. Good aircon. Good sound proofing - busy road but not noisy when windows closed. Good wifi. Small table and 2 chairs to have a snack or basic meal. Coin laundry in building. Train station and supermarket 5 mins walk. 15 min walk to town.

This is a lovely apart-hotel. It's immaculately clean throughout, well-equipped and all staff are exceptional. The breakfast was very good, a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks available. The in house pizzeria 'TAKE-IN' was also very good and reasonably priced. There's also the option to buy things you may have forgotten to pack like toothbrushes, shaving cream etc. for little money, snacks and drinks. The location right next to the canal at Dampoort (and almost facing Damport Rail Station) provides a good if not very picturesque waterside walk around the area to some good restaurants like Amigo and DOK Brewing Co. and Ship & Sip floating bar. Pets are also welcome. I'd be really happy to stay here again. Oh, almost forgot to mention FANTASTIC BEER WHEREVER YOU DRINK!!!

It was my first solo trip and I'm glad I chose Adagio as my stay for 2 weeks. The location is at walkable distance (2 kms) from the city center and all the touristy places. Neighborhood feels safe. The common area downstairs is always lively and they also have snacks for sale over there. The service is incomparable. There is also a small kitchenet in the room with microwave, hot plate, required pans etc, sink & dishwasher! 24*7 hot water at all points. Whenever I had any issue, it was resolved immediately. Restaurant has aesthetic ambience and lots of food options. Would definitely be staying here again when I visit Ghent!

Excellent location. Very helpful and responsive staff. Useful walking maps of Ghent provided. Easy walks to the station and into town for exploring. Very well equipped studio - really appreciated the kitchenette (a main reason for choosing these studios). Quiet apart from the very good instrumentalist practising next door (but we didn't mind that at all!). Great to have access to communal lounge area, restaurant and a fab breakfast, or to self cater. Appreciated the gym but too tired after all our exploring to use it! Grateful for the option to leave luggage for a few hours to make the most of our last day.

Short walk from Flixbus stop, past Dampoort station - handy for onward travel/day trips out. Supermarket nearby. 20min walk into town or bus from opposite train station. Compact kitchenette for self-catering with table/chairs, large fridge, good facilities, comfortable.
