This hotel has a great location as it is about 2 minutes away from a train station. This station can be used to go to the other Gent station (St Pieters) or even a train directly to Antwerp. The rooms are lovely and the staff are very friendly. The room also includes a fridge, hob and a kettle which are very useful for longer stays.

It was my first solo trip and I'm glad I chose Adagio as my stay for 2 weeks. The location is at walkable distance (2 kms) from the city center and all the touristy places. Neighborhood feels safe. The common area downstairs is always lively and they also have snacks for sale over there. The service is incomparable. There is also a small kitchenet in the room with microwave, hot plate, required pans etc, sink & dishwasher! 24*7 hot water at all points. Whenever I had any issue, it was resolved immediately. Restaurant has aesthetic ambience and lots of food options. Would definitely be staying here again when I visit Ghent!

Excellent location with air-conditioned rooms and friendly, welcoming staff who are always smiling. The on-site restaurant with a bar is convenient, and all basic amenities are provided. Rooms are well soundproofed, ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the beds are very comfortable. Each room includes a Smart TV with YouTube and Netflix, along with kitchen facilities for added convenience. The bathroom is spacious and well-equipped. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Excellent location. Very helpful and responsive staff. Useful walking maps of Ghent provided. Easy walks to the station and into town for exploring. Very well equipped studio - really appreciated the kitchenette (a main reason for choosing these studios). Quiet apart from the very good instrumentalist practising next door (but we didn't mind that at all!). Great to have access to communal lounge area, restaurant and a fab breakfast, or to self cater. Appreciated the gym but too tired after all our exploring to use it! Grateful for the option to leave luggage for a few hours to make the most of our last day.

This modern accommodation was perfect for a city break stay. A good buffet breakfast was included in the total price. A clean room that had everything you needed, including a small, well equipped kitchenette. There is no daily housekeeping, but fresh towels or other toiletry items can be got at reception if needed. It was an approx 15 minute walk to the town centre. Staff were friendly & helpful. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the spacious reception area.I felt this accommodation was good value for money. If visiting Ghent again I would book this accommodation.

Modern, very new, well designed in a good location for walking into the City Centre. The Studio rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. Downstairs the reception and bar area are welcoming and a good place to sit and have a morning coffee. At night there is good food and drink available and the outside space has tables and chairs for when the weather is good. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the overall vibe is very good.

We had a very pleasant stay in the adagio (1 night). The studio rooms were good value and were very well thought through. A nice kitchenette, TV, and a very comfortable mattress. It was a spacious room. Overall definitely recommend! @hotel staff. If not too much trouble, could you share the mattress brand and type with me perhaps :)? I normally get back issues, but this mattress was incredibly comfortable.

Location of the hotel was perfect for us. We ended up here by accident, but were more than pleased. The Ghent city center has restrictions on vehicle emissions and after booking another hotel in the center first we learned we couldn't take our car there unless we paid 2x35 Euros for two day passes to cover our 1 night stay. This in addition to the daily parking fee. Total would have added 100 Euros to the overnight stay. If you're planning to arrive with your own (older) car, check out this info first before booking. Booking.com doesn't have this info and the hotel only provided it after we had booked (annoying). The Adagio hotel is super comfortable, large, well equipped rooms with kitchenette, good facilities, friendly staff and a decent in house restaurant. We weren't expecting any of these amenities. It's a short, not unpleasant 15 minute/less than a mile walk into the city center. It's right on the edge of the restricted emissions zone, and it easily accessible by car. good, secure underground parking for a reasonable daily fee.

During our 24-day trip in Europe, the three of us stayed for 3 nights in Ghent, and overall, the experience was quite good! Although the room was small, the storage space was well-designed, and there was a communal area downstairs. The location was close to the train station, and the room was fairly clean.

The staff were great - great English and speedy checkin. The hotel is right on the edge of town with an exit onto the river for walking in. We were given great instructions. The facilities in the main lobby were fab for our teen - gym, ping pong and table football. Great bar and pizza if you stayed in. Our room was in Adagio and it was tight - we got used to spacious rooms on our road trip and stayed in Germany the day before in a comparable Palace for just over half the price, but not including breakfast. When all the fold down beds are down, three of us were tripping over each other. Bags had to go in the entrance. Because of the pull down effect (very clever) then you had a weird ledge in the back of your head but I didn't notice it when I got the pillow right. Handy little kitchenette. The bathroom comparatively was wheelchair ready and was ginormous! So I guess we compromised space for location :) parking is easy but another tax - 18 euro a night - but I don't know if that is standard for Ghent
